Description:

The concept of the GRASSHOPPER frames is based on the 3 mm unibody bottom plate and CrissCrossFPV trademarked vertical main plates. This combination makes whole construction exceptionally stiff and sturdy. The top vertical plates are fixed with the single screw and pure engineering magic.

This frame was designed for the purpose to fly long and far. The initial flight test showed the flight times up to 15 minutes with 4s 1050 mAh battery. Theoretically 20+ minutes and 10+ km distances are achievable with the proper battery/ motor/ prop combo.

Various stack mounting options allows fitting of almost any electronic combination available on the market.

On the top of the frame is enough space for up to 4s 1500 mAh battery. The GPS is mounted at end of the top part embedded together with VTX antenna into 3d printed bracket.

Due to it’s stiffness the frame can be successfully used for freestyle builds too. It is hard to say it with 100% confidence yet. The GRASSHOPPER frame is fresh addition to the CrissCrossFPV fleet and needs to be tested and flown for longer period.

The GRASSHOPPER frame is a decent addition to any drone collection and delivers many positive moments.
